Rachael Anderson serves as Vice President of Operations for Madison Communities, overseeing operational performance, team leadership, and portfolio execution across the Charleston region. A Charleston native, she brings deep local market expertise and a comprehensive understanding of multifamily operations developed through every level of on-site and regional leadership.
Rachael began her career as a leasing professional while completing her college studies and steadily advanced through the ranks, gaining firsthand insight into what drives success at the site level. She joined Greystar in 2013 as a Senior Community Manager, where she quickly distinguished herself as a trusted mentor and high-performing leader. Under her direction, multiple communities earned industry recognition and consistently outperformed market benchmarks.
She later served as a Multi-Site Manager with Greystar, becoming a recognized lease-up expert in the Charleston market. Known for her competitive yet engaging leadership style, Rachael builds high-performing teams and thriving communities. She believes strongly in creating an exceptional resident experience, recognizing that residents who feel connected to their community stay longer and are willing to pay a premium for quality and service.
Rachael holds a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from The Citadel and earned academic membership in both the International Honor Society and the National Honor Society. She served as President of the College of Charleston’s National Honor Society in Psychology. Rachael is licensed in the State of South Carolina as a Property Manager in Charge.
