Peter leads the team responsible for preliminary budgeting, constructability assessments, and finalizing scope and contract budgets. He plays a critical role in ensuring a project’s success from concept to groundbreaking, providing the field team with the foundation they need to execute efficiently.
Before joining BenCo Construction, Peter worked in estimating with Adolfson & Peterson, Balfour Beatty, Wood Partners, and Metrolina Builders. His experience includes budgeting for a wide range of projects, including schools, gas stations, self-storage facilities, kennels, and commercial shell and upfits. However, his primary focus has been the multifamily sector, where he has helped bring over 5,000 residential units under contract. Active in Charlotte’s estimating community, he is a former chapter president of the Professional Construction Estimators Association (PCEA) and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of estimators.
Peter earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management with a minor in Business Administration from Colorado State University.
