Joint Venture Partners Madison Capital Group and BCDC Break Ground on Go Store It Self Storage Charlottesville

Charlottesville, Va.(March 11, 2024) — Madison Capital Group and BCDC proudly announce the groundbreaking of Go Store It Self Storage Charlottesville, a state-of-the-art facility featuring 704 climate-controlled, secure self-storage units.

Charlottesville is home to the nearly 24,000-student University of Virginia. Proximity to major retail hubs, shopping centers, and residential complexes enhances the project’s accessibility and convenience. It is near the intersection of Rio Road West and Seminole Trail in high-barriers-to-entry Albemarle County.

United Bank is providing financing. BenCo Construction is the project’s general contractor. JMN Architecture is the architect, and Shimp Engineering is the civil engineer.

The partnership expects completion of the property in early 2025.
