McCarley is the President of Madison Communities overseeing all the firms Multi Family Investment, Development, and Operational activities.
McCarley joined LMC, Lennar’s Multi Family Division, in December 2019 as a City President and is based in Winter Park, FL. McCarley was responsible for leading LMC’s development division in Florida.
Prior to joining LMC, McCarley served as the Chief Investment Officer for Epoch Residential, a Winter Park, FL based multifamily development, construction and management company. McCarley joined Epoch in 2004 and became its Chief Investment Officer in 2015. As CIO, his responsibilities included new investment capitalization, private investor fund raising and communication, oversight of asset management, new site selection, and the disposition process. In his time with Epoch, McCarley was involved in the development, capitalization, and disposition of over 9,000 apartment units in Florida, Texas, Arizona and North Carolina.
From 2001 to 2004, McCarley served as an Associate in Fixed Income at Wachovia Bank, in Charlotte, NC. He holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
